Gardaí at Ballyheigue Co Kerry are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 6.35pm last night (22/4/12)
The collision involved a motorcycle and a car. The 26 year old male motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene his body has been removed to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee. No other persons were injured.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Forensic collision examination, diversions are in place.
