Gardaí at Mullingar are investigating a two car fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N4 (Mullingar bypass in the townland of Collemore).
The collision occurred at approximately 1pm today (13/4/12) a male driver in his 60’s (only occupant) of one of the cars was fatally injured. The female driver in her 30’s of the other car along with three children (boys) were injured (injuries not serious). They were taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Forensic collision examination, diversions are in place.
