Fatal road traffic collision at Gort, Galway on the 15/4/12

Gardai in Gort are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision that occured at 00.55 Hrs this morning 15th April 2012 at Gortaloman, Peterswell, Galway.

A male driver (39 years) was fatally injured when the car he was driving left the road and hit a sign post. He was pronounced dead at scene and his body was removed to University College Hospital, Galway.
 
The road is closed pending a Garda Forensic Examination.
