Theft of Flares in Ring, Waterford on the 19-20/10/09

Some of the flares that were taken are highly dangerous.

 

Gardaí in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford investigating the theft of a number of flares on the 19th/20th of   October, are appealing to members of the public who may have information with regard to the incident.

 

The theft occurred overnight on the 19th and 20th October 2009 in Ring, Co. Waterford.  Some of the flares (approximately 25 out of 50) that were taken are highly dangerous, and anyone who comes across them is urged not to touch them, and contact their nearest Garda Station. These flares are for use in Marine emergencies, and as such are extremely dangerous.
