Shooting incident at Finglas, Dublin on the 18/10/09

A man was shot in the lower body and he sustained injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

 

Gardaí at Finglas are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 5am this morning, the 18/10/09 on Mellows Avenue, Finglas, Dublin 11.

 

A 22 year old man was shot in the lower body and he sustained injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

 

He is being treated for these injuries in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

 

A 17 year old man was arrested nearby and he is presently being detained at Finglas Garda Station under section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act.
