A man was seriously assaulted and removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where he passed away.
Gardai in Glenties, Co. Donegal are investigating a serious assault that occured at a licensed premises on Arranmore Island at 2.30 a.m. this morning, the 3rd October 2009.
A 19 year old man was seriously assaulted and removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where he passed away at approximately 10.30 a.m.
A 39 year old man was arrested on Arranmore Island and is currently being detained at Glenties Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The scene has been preserved and the State Pathologists’ Office has been notified.
