A male was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a wall.
Gardai in Galway are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occured at Moycullen Road at approximately 4.10 a.m. this morning 3rd October, 2009.
A 39 year old male was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a wall. He was removed to University Galway Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Driver was alone in the vehicle.
The road is currently closed pending a Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses who may have travelled this stretch of road around the time of the collision to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
