Serious road traffic collision at Roscrea, Tipperary on the 18/11/09

Two cars were involved in the collision with 3 occupants in each car.

 

Gardai in Roscrea are investigating the circumstances of a serious road traffic collision which occurred on the Dublin to Limerick Road (N7) approx 2 miles outside Roscrea on the Dublin side.  The collision occurred at approx 7.30pm on the 18th November 2009.

 

Two cars were involved in the collision with 3 occupants in each car, in 1 car there were 2 females and 1 male, and in the second car there were 2 males and 1 female.

 

Five of the injured were taken to Portlaoise Hospital and one to Tullamore Hospital.  Two of the injured are believed to be serious.  The road remains closed and diversions are in place.  The Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene.
