There was a female and a 5 yr old girl in the car at the time of the collision.
Gardai at Tuam, Co. Galway are investigating a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at Williamstown Village on the Glenamaddy Road. The collision occurred this morning 17/11/09 at 9.20am approx.
There was a 58 year old female and a 5 yr old girl in the car at the time of the collision. The 58yr old female was pronounced dead at the scene. The 5 year old girl was taken to Galway University Hospital with minor injuries.
The road is currently closed and Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene. Witnesses are asked to contact the Gardai in Tuam on 093 70840 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
