A man has died following a single vehicle traffic collision in Sligo.
A man has died following a single vehicle road traffic collision in Sligo.
At approximately 1115 hours on 9.11.2009 a male aged in his 80’s was seriously injured when the motor car he was driving collided with a stone wall at Knappagh Road, Sligo.
He was taken by ambulance to Sligo General Hospital where he passed away this evening. The local Coroner has been notified. The scene of the accident was technically examined and the road has since re-opened.
