Gardaí have arrested two males in Inverin, Co. Galway.
Gardai have arrested two males and recovered a number of items in Inverin, Co. Galway following an iIntelligence led operation into organised crime.
Local Gardai from Galway and Salthill Sarda Stations supported by the Garda Emergency Response Unit arrested two males in their 30’s at approximately 5.30pm this evening, the 11/11/09 near the Post Office at Inverin. They are currently detailed under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Galway Garda Station.
A number of items were recovered including what is believed to be a firearm, subject to examination, along with knives, balaclavas, gloves and mobile phones.
