Robbery at a pharmacy on South Circular Road, Dublin on the 25/5/09

Armed raid on a pharmacy on South Circular Road in Dublin.

 

Three men have been arrested and a firearm has been recovered following an armed raid on a pharmacy on South Circular Road in Dublin.

The incident took place at about 2 p.m. on the 25th of May 2009.  Three men, one armed with what appeared to be a handgun entered the pharmacy.  Armed Gardai who were on patrol in the area responded to the incident.

The three men one in his 20s, one in his 30s and one in his 40s were arrested at the scene.  They are detained at Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda stations under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

No shots were fired and nobody was injured during the incident.
