Incident at Bansha, Tipperary on the 6/5/09 - Witness appeal

Bansha is on the main Waterford to Limerick Road.

 

Gardai in Tipperary Town are investigating an alleged assault which took place on Main Street in Bansha, Co. Tipperary on Wednesday - 6th May 2009 between 9.00pm and 10pm, in which a 29 year man was injured.

The man was taken to Clonmel Hospital and subsequently transferred to Cork University Hospital with head injuries.

Gardai are seeking witnesses to the assault or to events prior to or subsequent to the assault. 

Bansha is on the main Waterford to Limerick Road.

With this in mind Gardai are interested in hearing from anyone who was in the Bansha area, particularly on Main Street between 9.30pm and 10pm to contact them on 062-80670 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111.
