Gardai at Letterkenny are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N13, Letterkenny to Derry Road, this morning, the 3/5/09.
Two males, aged 19 and 21 years old, were fatally injured when the car they were traveling in collided with a wall approximately .5 km South of Newtown Cunningham. The Gardai attended the scene at approximately 7.30am.
They were pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the car. The road has been closed for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. A diversion is in place.
Gardai wish to appeal to witnesses that may have traveled this stretch of road early this morning and who may be able to assist them with their investigation to contact Letterkenny Garda Station at 074-912 2222 or the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800-666-111.
