Fatal road traffic collision on the Corbally Road, Limerick on the 10/5/09 - Witness appeal

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision to contact them.

 

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision to contact them.  A woman in her 70's was fatally injured when she was struck by a car at Corbally Road, Limerick at 2.30 p.m. on the 10th of May 2009.

Gardai would like anyone who was in the area yesterday afternoon to contact them at Henry Street Garda Station, on 061 212400.

The dead woman has been named as 74 year old, Anne Storen of Corbally Road, Limerick.

Gardaí at Henry Street in Limerick are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R463, Corbally Road, at approximately 2.30pm this afternoon.

A 74 year old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a car.  She died later in the afternoon after being taken to Limerick Regional Hospital, Dooradoyle.

The R463 is closed between the junctions with Mill Road and the Grove Island Roundabout pending a Garda forensic collision investigation.
