Fatal road traffic collision at Monaghan town on the 25/5/09

A woman was fatally injured when she was struck by a truck.

Gardai in Monaghan are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on 25/5/09 at approx 18.25 hours.

A woman aged in her 80s was fatally injured when she was struck by a truck at Old Cross Square, Monaghan Town, Co. Monaghan. 

Motorists are asked to avoid the area as the scene is currently closed to traffic, and Forensic Collision Investigators are in attendance.
