Gardai in Carlow are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Clogristic, Milford, Co. Carlow, (old N9) earlier today - 12/5/09.
At approximately 1500 hours a man aged 24 was fatally injured, when the motorcycle he was driving, was involved in a collision with a motor car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the car were taken to Kilkenny Hospital with minor injuries, and have since been discharged. The scene was examined by Forensic Collision Investigators, and the road has since been re-opened.
