Aggravated Burglary at Leighlinbridge, Co.Carlow on the 17/5/09

Gardai in Carlow are appealing to trace the whereabouts of a grey Ford Focus which was taken during an aggravated burglary at Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow.

 

Gardai in Carlow are appealing to trace the whereabouts of a grey Ford Focus, registration number 08 CW 2478, which was taken during an aggravated burglary at the Lord Bagnel Inn, Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow at 5.30 am approx. this morning, the 17/05/2009.

The car was used by 4 armed and masked raiders to make their escape after a sum of money and a security safe was taken from the premises.

During the course of the raid two male employees and a resident from the hotel were locked in a storeroom while the raiders made their escape.

There was no-one injured in the incident.
