Fatal stabbing in Galway on the 3/6/09

Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a seriously injured man at Williamsgate Street, Galway.

 

Gardai at Galway are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a seriously injured man at Williamsgate Street, Galway at approximately 2.20am this morning, the 3/6/09. The man appeared to have serious stab wounds.

The 20 year old was taken by Gardai to University Hospital Galway where he was pronounced dead at 3am.

The scene at Williamsgate Street has been sealed off pending a full Garda technical examination, the State Pathologist has been notified.

Superintendent, Mill Street will address the media at Galway Garda Station at 12 noon today, the 3rd June 2009.
