A man died when the van in which he was the sole occupant collided with a fence.
Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating the circumstances of a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at 6.45pm this evening – 19th June 2009 on the main Letterkenny to Ballybofey Road (N13), near the village of Drumkeen.
An 80 year old man died when the van in which he was the sole occupant collided with a fence.
He was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The scene of the accident has been preserved and traffic restrictions are currently in place.
