Renewed appeal - in identifying the body of a male which was found at Rosses Point, Sligo

Enquiries now suggest that this male was present at Ulsterbus, Derry at 2.30pm on 12th June 2009.

 

Gardai in Sligo are renewing their appeal for public assistance in identifying the body of a male which was found at Rosses Point on 16th June 2009 (previous release below refers).

 

Enquiries now suggest that this male was present at Ulsterbus, Derry at 2.30pm on 12th June 2009 and boarded a bus for Sligo at 4pm that same day.

 

To date this male remains unidentified.  Detective Inspector John O'Reilly of Sligo Garda Station is now making a renewed appeal in an effort to identify this man and notify his next of kin.

Gardai in Sligo are looking for the public’s help in their effort to identify a male which was found at Rosses Point on the 16/6/09.

Description 55 to 65 yrs, short Grey hair, Dark Eyebrows, average height, thin build, wearing swimming trunks,

A search of the area revealed the following clothing,

Black Leather Jacket, Navy Chino style trousers, black belt, black sleeveless Tommy Hilfiger jumper, blue woollen sock, black shoes.
