A man and a woman were injured when the van in which they were travelling was involved in a collision with a 4-wheel drive SUV
Gardai in Askeaton in Limerick are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 5.45pm this evening - 29th July 2009 on the main Askeaton to Rathkeale Road, approximately 2 miles outside of Askeaton.
A man and a woman both believed to be in their 60's were injured when the van in which they were travelling was involved in a collision with a 4-wheel drive SUV. Both the man and the woman were subsequently pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
One of the 2 male occupants in the other vehicle was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries.
