A man was fatally injured when his motor cycle was involved in a head on collision with a motor car.
Gardai in Monaghan are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Aghalisk, Clones Road, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan, at approximately 10.30am on the 19/7/09.
A man, aged in his 40’s, was fatally injured when his motor cycle was involved in a head on collision with a motor car. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been removed to the Louth Hospital, where a Post Mortem examination will take place.
Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene. The road is currently closed and traffic diversions are in place.
