Gardai at Kells Garda Station are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Mullaghhay, Carolanstown, Kells, Co. Meath on the 26/1/09 and appeal for witnesses.

 

Gardaí at Kells, Co. Meath are appealing for witnesses to a Fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Mullaghhay, Carolanstown, Kells, Co Meath yesterday morning 26/1/09. (See Press Release 95/09 below)

Gardaí are particularly anxious to speak to the driver of a truck who passed the scene just before the collision to contact them at Kells Garda Station at 046-9280820 or the Garda Confidential Number 1-800-666-111

The name of the deceased is Gediminas Karpavicius 30 years.

Gardai at Kells Garda Station are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Mullaghhay, Carolanstown, Kells, Co. Meath.

The incident occurred at approximately 5am this morning, 26th January 2009 a 30 year old male pedestrian was stuck by a car and was fatally injured.

The road between Cassidy’s Cross and Kells is currently closed to facilitate a forensic examination of the scene of the crash.
