Witness appeal - Road traffic collision at Ballyoran, Louth on the 22/1/09

Gardaí in Ardee are appealing for witnesses to a collision between two cars which took place at 9.35pm on Thursday, 22nd January 2009 at Ballyoran near the village of Louth.

 

Gardaí in Ardee are appealing for witnesses to a collision between two (2) cars, a green Ford Mondeo (Northern Ireland Registration plate) and a silver Toyota Hilux, which took place at 9.35pm on Thursday, 22nd January 2009 at Ballyoran near the village of Louth.

Both vehicles were travelling in the same direction (heading towards Louth village) at the time and the driver and passenger of the Toyota Hilux were removed to Our Lady’s Hospital in Drogheda, where their condition is described as 'stable'.

Investigating Gardaí are asking for the driver of the Mondeo, or anyone who witnessed the collision, to contact them either at Ardee Garda station (041 685 3222) or the Garda confidential line (1800 666 111).
