Shooting incident at a public house in Finglas, Dublin on the 11/1/09.

Gardai at Finglas are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at a public house on Barry Road, Finglas shortly after midnight on the 11.01.09.

 

Gardai at Finglas are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at a public house on Barry Road, Finglas shortly after midnight on the 11/1/09.

 

A 24 year old male received injuries when two males wearing balaclavas entered the premises and discharged a firearm. The injured male was taken to hospital with injuries that are describes as not life threatening. No one else was injured in the premises. The two males made their escape in the direction of Barry Green.

 

The scene has been preserved for technical examination.

 

In connection with this incident Gardai from Finglas conducted follow up searches on two houses in the Finglas area a firearm was recovered.
