As part of the ongoing investigation into serious crime in the Roxboro Road Garda District area in Limerick planned searches were carried out in Childers Road on the 26/01/09.
As part of the ongoing investigation into serious crime in the Roxboro Road Garda District area in Limerick planned searches were carried out in an open area off the Childers Road this evening the 26.01.09.
As a result, two sawn off shotguns, a rifle and a quantity of ammunition were recovered. A suspect package was also recovered. An Army Explosive Ordinance Disposal team has been requested and is awaited.
