Gardai investigating the murder of Paul Ryan, Grangemore Lawns, Donaghmede, Dublin 13, whose body was discovered at Coolderry, Birr, Co. Offaly on the 12th of April 2003, have charged a man with an offence in connection with the murder.
This investigation was carried out by the Serious Crime Review Team which was established in March 2007 and was tasked with reviewing unsolved murders in the State since 1980. The team is headed by a Detective Superintendent.
John O Hanlon with an address at Millwood, Kilbarrack, Dublin 5, appeared at Cloverhill District this morning the 16th of January 2009 where he was remanded in custody until the 23rd of January at the same court.
