Fatal road traffic collision on the Oldcastle to Loughcrew Road, Meath on 5/1/09 - and appeal for witnesses.

A 17 year old male has died following a single vehicle collision that occurred on the Oldcastle to Loughcrew road last night and appeal for witnesses.

 

The name of the 17 year old male killed in a fatal collision on the 5th of January 2009 should read Dean Walshe with an address at Fennor, Oldcastle, Co Meath.

Gardaí in Kells are appealing for witnesses to a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision that occured on Monday 5th of January 2009 at approximately at 11.30pm in the townland of Loughcrew at Oldcastle, Co. Meath.

Dean Walshe Fennor, 17 years, from Oldcastle Co.Meath died as a result of injuries in Navan General Hospital yesterday the 6th January 2009.

A 17 year old male has died following a single vehicle collision that occurred on the Oldcastle to Loughcrew road last night at approximately 11.30pm.

This stretch of road is just off the R154.

He was the driver and sole occupant of a car that went out of control and collided with a wall.

He was taken to Navan General Hospital and subsequently died of his injuries in the Hospital this afternoon.
