Discovery of a body in Co. Tipperary on the 26/1/09

Gardai at Cahir, Co. Tipperary, are investigating the discovery of the body of a woman in her early 50’s near Ballyporeen, Co. Tipperary

 

Gardai at Cahir, Co. Tipperary, are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a woman in her early 50’s in a lane way near Ballyporeen, Co. Tipperary.

The body was discovered shortly before 5pm on the 26th of January 2009.

The area is sealed off and crime scene examiners from the Garda Technical Bureau are to examine the scene in the morning. The State Pathologist has been notified of the discovery.

The body, which has not been identified, remains at the scene.

There is no further information at present but updates will be provided as information becomes available.
