Aggravated burglay at Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary on 9/1/09.

Gardaí at Carrick on Suir are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred at a licensed firearms dealership in Cregg, Carrick on Suir, Co. Tipperary.

 

Gardaí at Carrick on Suir are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred in the early hours of this morning at a licensed firearms dealership in Cregg, Carrick on Suir, Co. Tipperary.

At approximately 1.30am 4 men were waiting outside the premises when the owners (a couple) returned home from a night out. At least one of these men was armed with a firearm.

The owners were taken into the house which had 2 other occupants.

An assortment of approximately 30 firearms were taken during the course of this burglary, including pistols and rifles.

The family car, a beige/champagne coloured Honda Civic Saloon registration 03WX5048, was also taken.

No shots were fired or persons injured.

We are particularly interested in locating the whereabouts of the car taken or any sightings of it since this incident occurred.
