Firearms find in Cork on the 17/2/09.

Three firearms, believed to be handguns, were recovered in the Inniscarra area of Co. Cork.

 

Shortly before 6pm this evening 3 firearms, believed to be handguns, were recovered in the Inniscarra area of Co. Cork.

Gardaí were alerted to the find by a member of the public.

The firearms are currently in possession of Gardaí at Ballincollig and will be taken to Garda Headquarters for examination.

The matter is presently under investigation.
