Gardai at Cahir are investigating a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at 9.15am this morning, the 10th February 2009 at Ballysheehan, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Two men were brought to Tipperary General Hospital after the pick-up truck in which they were travelling was involved in a collision with a tree.
One of them - a 26 year old man who had been a passenger in the vehicle at the time, was pronounced dead a short time later.
The second man, a 35 year old who had been driving the vehicle was also pronounced dead shortly after 6.30pm this evening.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle at the time of the collision.
