Five males arrested and loaded firearm recovered on the 14/12/09

A loaded firearm and ammunition was recovered.

Gardai from the Organised Crime Unit targeting organised criminal activity assisted by members of the Emergency Response Unit arrested 5 males (18, 19, 28, 30 and 46 yrs) in the Celbridge and Lucan areas on the evening of the 14th Dec 2009 at approx 17.00hrs.

The five males are currently being detained at Newbridge (2), Lucan (2) and Leixlip (1) Garda stations under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended.
