Arrest of male in Dundalk, Louth on the 2/12/09

One man in his 30’s has been arrested following an operation in Dundalk, Co Louth this afternoon (2/12/09) involving the Garda Emergency Response Unit (ERU).

The man was arrested in an area know as Heynestown, Dundalk, Co Louth at approximately 4.30pm and is detained at Drogheda Garda Station under Section 30 of Offences Against The State Act.

 

Gardai seized a 4 X 4 vehicle in the course of this operation and  are examining its contents.
