Pipe bomb attack on house in Deansrath Grove, Clondalkin on the 10/8/09

Damage was caused to the front of the house which was occupied at the time but no injuries were received.

 

The Gardai in Clondalkin are investigating the circumstances surrounding a pipe bomb attack on a house in Deansrath Grove, Clondalkin, at approx 01.55hrs on the 10th August 2009.

 

A pipe bomb went off at the house on Deansrath Grove, Clondalkin, damage was caused to the front of the house. The house was occupied at the time but no injuries were received.

 

The services of the Army Explosive Ordinance Disposal team were not required. The scene has been preserved pending a technical examination.
