A male died after being stabbed on, or near Main Street Rear, which is a laneway off the Main Street in Kiltimagh.
Gardaí at Swinford are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred in the town of Kiltimagh at approximately 12.45am this morning, the 12/8/09.
A 24 year old male died after being stabbed on, or near Main Street Rear, which is a laneway off the Main Street in Kiltimagh.
A number of people are believed to have been involved in the incident.
The man's body remains at the scene and the services of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau have been requested.
