Gardai are again appealing to members of the public who may have information in relation to this incident.
Gardai investigating the fatal stabbing which occurred in Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo on Wednesday 12th August 2009 have arrested a second man in connection with this investigation.
The 23 year old man was arrested this morning (13/8/09) in Co Mayo and is currently detained at Swinford Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
There are now two men in custody in relation to this investigation.
Gardai are again appealing to members of the public who may have information in relation to this incident or who may have been in the area between 12 midnight and 1am on 12th August 2009 to contact Swinford Garda Station 094 9252990, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.

Gardai investigating the fatal stabbing which occurred in Kiltimagh, Co Mayo on Wednesday 12th August 2009 have arrested a man in connection with this investigation.
The man in his mid 20’s was arrested yesterday evening (12/8/09) in Kiltimagh and is currently detained at Swinford Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Gardaí at Swinford are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred in the town of Kiltimagh at approximately 12.45am this morning.
A 24 year old male died after being stabbed on, or near Main Street Rear, which is a laneway off the Main Street in Kiltimagh.
His body remains at scene.
A number of people are believed to have been involved in the incident.
The man's body remains at the scene and the services of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau have been requested.
