Fatal road traffic collision on the N17, Ballindine and Milltown, Galway on the 21/8/09

The 45 year old male driver of a car was killed when he was in collision with a tanker.

Gardaí at Tuam are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 8am this morning on the N17 between Ballindine and Milltown.

The 45 year old male driver of a car was killed when he was in collision with a tanker.

The deceased has been removed to University CollegeHospital Galway.

The road is closed at the scene of the collision awaiting a forensic collision investigation.
