Fatal road traffic collision near the village of Innishhannon, Cork on the 7/8/09

A 14 year old boy has died following a road traffic collision.


A 14 year old boy has died today, the 7th of August 2009 following a road traffic collision, which took place on Wednesday, the 5th of August.  Jake O'Donoghue was cycling near the village of Innishhannon in Co. Cork at about 4.30 p.m. on the 5th, when he was involved in a collision with a car.

 

He was taken from the scene by ambulance to Cork University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead today, the 7th of August.
