Gardaí from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit have seized approximately 1 kilo of heroin with an estimated street value of €200,000.
Gardaí from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit have seized approximately 1 kilo of heroin (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of €200,000 at a house in Blarney, Co. Cork at approximately 10.30pm last night - Friday 14th August 2009.
This was part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of heroin in the Cork City area.
A man (30 years) and a woman (28 years) have been arrested. They are currently being detained at Gurranabraher and Bridewell Garda Stations respectively, under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act.
