Fatal road traffic collision at Rosegreen, Tipperary on the 3/4/09 - and name

Gardai at Cashel are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at at Ballinattin, Rosegreen, Co. Tipperary.

 

Gardai have named the man killed in yesterdays (3/4/09) three vehicle collision at Ballinattin, Rosegreen, Co. Tipperary as 44 year old D.J Meehan from Clonoulty, Cashel. Co. Tipperary.

Gardai at Cashel, Co. Tipperary are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 2.45pm today (3/4/09) at Ballinattin, Rosegreen, Co. Tipperary.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision, a 44 year old male driver of one of the cars(only occupant) was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver and male passenger of a 4 X 4 vehicle (only occupants) were taken to the South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel where their condition is described as serious while the male driver of the third vehicle (only occupant) was uninjured.

Garda forensic crash scene investigators are currently examining the scene of the collision.
