Fatal road traffic collision at Oldcastle, Meath on the 18/4/09 - and name

Gardai at Kells, Co. Meath are investigating a two vehicle collision have named the victim.

 

Gardai have named the man killed in a collision on the 18th of April 2009, near Oldcastle, Co. Meath, as 66 year old Liam Sheridan of Millbrook Road, Oldcastle, Co. Meath.

Gardai at Kells, Co. Meath are investigating a two vehicle collision which occured this evening at 6.10 p.m. 18th April, 2009 at Fennor, Oldcastle, Co. Meath.

A car and a motorbike were involved in the collision.  The male driver (in his mid 60's) of the motorbike was fatally injured and was removed to Cavan General Hospital.

The scene is currently closed pending an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
