Discharge of firearm and arrests in Drimnagh, Dublin on the 18/4/09

A single shot was fired through the front window of a house on Keeper Road, Dublin.

 

Gardai from Crumlin Garda Station received a report of a discharge of a firearm at a house on Keeper Road, Dublin 12 at approximately 11.30 p.m. last night, the 18th April, 2009.  A single shot was fired through the front window of the house and at the time there was one person in the house.  She received no injuries.

Garda arrived at the scene and as a result of follow up enquiries stopped and searched a car and arrested two males on St. Peters Road.

Both males (aged early 30's and mid 20's) were arrested under Section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act, 1939 and are being detained at Crumlin and Sundrive Road Garda Stations.

A fully loaded pistol was also recovered at the car park on St. Peters Road.
