Witness appeal to traffic collision at Duleek, Meath on the 27/9/08 - 1124/08

Gardai investigating a road traffic collision at Cushintown, Duleek, Co Meath on the N2 at 10.10a.m. on the 27th of September 2008 are seeking witnesses to the crash.

Gardai investigating a road traffic collision at Cushintown, Duleek, Co Meath on the N2 at 10.10a.m. on the 27th of September 2008 are seeking witnesses to the crash. 

A white Toyota Yaris was in collision with an oil tanker.  The driver of the car, a woman in her 30's, was seriously injured and was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.  The truck driver  a male in his 50's was also taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  His injuries are not thought to be serious. 

The road at the scene of the crash remains closed and diversions are in place.  Anyone who was driving in the area at the time or anyone with any information, is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda station at 01 8010600.
