Fatal road traffic collision on road between Sneem and Kenmare, Kerry on the 16/10/08 - 1185/08

Gardaí in Kenmare Co. Kerry are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured at Blackwater Bridge on the road between Sneem and Kenmare at 8.30a.m. this morning 16th October, 2008.

Gardaí in Kenmare Co. Kerry are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured at Blackwater Bridge on the road between Sneem and Kenmare at 8.30a.m. this morning 16th October, 2008.  

A male pedestrian in his mid 50's was struck by a van while herding cattle.  The deceased man was removed to Tralee General Hospital, and the road has been reopened.
