Fatal Road Traffic Collision at Bonniconnlon, Ballina, Co. Mayo on the 16/11/08.

19 year old fatally injured in single vehicle accident

 

Gardai at Ballina are investigating a single vehicle Fatal Road Traffic Collision that occurred at Bonniconnlon, Ballina, Co.Mayo shortly after 1am this morning (16/11/08).

A 19 year old male was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a tree. He was the sole occupant of the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body taken to Mayo General Hospital, Castlebar. The road is currently closed pending examination by a Garda Forensic Collision Investigation team.
