Arrests in the death of Richard McCormack, Clondalkin on the 8/3/08 - and updates.

2 men and 1 woman detained under Sec 30 Offences against the State Act & renewal for information and release.

The two males that were being held in relation to the death of Richard McCormack have this morning been released.  A file will be prepared and forwarded to the Director of Prosecutions.

Also this morning, at approximately 11a.m., a further male (35 years old) was arrested as part of this investigation. He was arrested in Blanchardstown, and is being held in Leixlip Garda Station under Section 30 Offenses Against the State Act.

The 2 males arrested with regards to the above investigation remain in custody.

The female was released without charge earlier this evening and a file will be prepared for The Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to her detention.

Gardai in Ronanstown investigating the death of Richard McCormack at St Ronan's Close in Clondalkin on 8th March 2008 have this morning (26th November 2008) arrested 3 people in the Ronanstown area.

The 2 men (aged 34 and 21 years) and one woman (32 years) are being detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act in Lucan, Ronanstown and Clondalkin Garda Stations respectively.

Gardai are renewing their appeal for information.
