Gardai from Rathfarnham seized a quantity of what is believed to be cannabis herb with an approximate street value of €180,000 - pending analysis.
Gardai discovered the drugs in a vehicle, which they searched on Kilakee Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin at approximately 01.50am this morning (2/5/2008).
Gardai arrested the driver of the vehicle, a male in his mid 20s.
The man was arrested and taken to Rathfarnham Garda Station.
He is being held under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act.
