Shots fires at houses in Limerick on the 25/3/08.

Gardaí at Mayorstone are investigating an incident of shots being fired on St. Ita Street, St Mary's Park, Limerick.

 

Gardaí at Mayorstone are investigating an incident of shots being fired at 6 different houses on St. Ita Street, St Mary's Park, Limerick. 

This happened at approximately 8.45pm on the 25/3/08. 

All 6 houses were damaged but no persons were injured. 

It is believed that an automatic firearm was used. 

A car was used in these shootings and was later recovered in Co. Clare. 

The scene of the shootings and the car are presently being preserved for technical examination. 

Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made yet.
